When a reservation is created or imported, Orion 3 Hotel generates a unique QR code key bound to that stay. The QR works only between the check-in and checkout dates, on the doors the guest is allowed to use.
The QR code lands in the guest's inbox together with the self check-in instructions. Guests can save it, print it or scan it directly from the email when they arrive.
Guests who prefer Wallet can store the same key as an Apple Wallet or Google Wallet pass. The QR sits on the lock screen and opens the door without unlocking the phone.
A single QR key handles the whole guest journey: the front entrance, the lift, the gym, the pool and the assigned room. Staff get their own access, guests get only what their reservation needs.
