Self check-in flow

Guests can arrive and enter their room without going through a front desk.

  1. Guest books directly or through a channel and the reservation lands in the PMS.
  2. Orion Hotel sends a confirmation email and, before arrival, a check-in email.
  3. When the reservation is assigned to a room, Orion Hotel issues the digital key automatically.
  4. Guest receives the key as a QR code, an Apple Wallet pass, a Google Wallet pass, an NFC credential or in the mobile app.
  5. Guest opens the room door, main entrance and common doors using their digital key.
  6. After checkout, cancellation, reassignment or unassignment the digital key is revoked automatically.

QR code key delivered by email or shown in the guest's mobile browser. No guest app required.

Apple Wallet pass

Apple Wallet hotel pass with guest name, room number, hotel, stay dates and the QR code. Lives on the lock screen.

Google Wallet pass
