It combines a full hotel PMS (reservations, room assignment, guest database, invoicing, reports and housekeeping) with Orion smart locks, contactless self check-in, digital guest keys and automated guest communication. Reservations drive room access: when a room is assigned, the guest key is created automatically and revoked after checkout, cancellation or reassignment.
Smart access features require compatible Orion access controllers and readers. Orion 3 Hotel works with Orion hardware — not third-party lock brands. Channel manager connections use supported integrations such as Booking.com, Airbnb, WebHotelier, Cloudbeds, Beds24, Smoobu, Hotelbeds and Hostify.

Traditional hotel cards rely on physical plastic credentials encoded at a front desk. Orion 3 Hotel replaces the card with a QR code, Apple Wallet pass, Google Wallet pass, NFC credential or mobile app key — generated from the reservation, delivered by email or wallet, and revoked automatically when the booking ends.
Standalone smart locks open doors but do not know who is booked into which room and have no reservation context. Orion 3 Hotel ships the PMS and smart access together: reservations drive the locks, and access is revoked when the booking changes.
